At Nana’s Kitchen, every new creation begins with one simple thought: What would your Nana make? From there, we craft comfort foods with a global taste, made to spark the same warmth and nostalgia you feel when remembering her table.

Nana’s Kitchen was born not from a business plan but from Shelina Mawani’s heart. In a small Burnaby restaurant, she built more than meals—she built belonging, opening doors for new Canadian women while filling tables with warmth, laughter, and the aroma of fresh samosas. When demand outgrew her kitchen, Shelina boldly expanded, transforming that humble start into a CFIA-inspected, HACCP- and BRC-certified facility. Today, celebrated as the “Samosa Queen,” she leads Nana’s Kitchen with the same spirit of authenticity, care, and empowerment that began her journey.
